Thank You.

Overgrown hedges

The Parish Council have put several requests in the Newsletter and on our Facebook page for residents in Wilberfoss to maintain their boundary hedges and trees.  Residents can also report offending trees and hedges directly to East Riding of Yorkshire Council who, under the Highways Act 1980, will serve notice directly to the property owner.  Please use the following link.

Dog Fouling

There have been increasing reports of dog fouling around the village.  Dog mess is a public health hazard and it's the law to pick up after your dog.  Please can dog owners ensure they Bag it and Bin it.

ERYC Re-Cycling Credit Scheme

Glass recycling is available behind the tennis courts off Storking Lane, for those whose blue bins aren't sufficient to recycle everything.  Clothing can also be recycled at the same time,  in aid of Yorkshire Air Ambulance.

Please don't park on the pavement

We appreciate everyone wants to avoid blocking the roads around the parish; however we would ask that you avoid parking on pavements where this might force parents/carers with young children in pushchairs or wheelchair users to have to use the road to pass. We also ask that under no circumstance do drivers park on grass verges as this may cause damage as well as an obstruction.

Thank you.
