WPC Councillors follow the Good Councillors Guide (2013) and the Code of Conduct adopted in 2012

Clllr Lesley Hoyer (Chair) - An accounts/office manager working in York.  Lesley is married to Andrew and has lived in Wilberfoss since 2000.  Lesley joined the Parish Council in late 2005 as she was interested in retaining the village as a thriving, pleasant community for the younger generations to grow up in. Furthermore Lesley represents Wilberfoss on the Western Parishes Liaison Group.

Cllr David Smith (Vice Chair) - moved to Wilberfoss with his wife Margaret in 2008. He has been a Parish Councillor for some years and takes a keen interest in the Law and Order side of things. He is a member of the Crime Prevention Panel on behalf of the Council as well as Secretary of Wilberfoss Neighbourhood Watch Committee.

Cllr Judy Abernethy - has lived in Wilberfoss since 1999 with her husband who has lived here since 1985. She retired in 2013 from HMP Full Sutton after serving 24 years as a prison officer and now spends some of her time volunteering for Barnardos and as an active member of Harthill Company of Archers at the Pavilion. Judy wanted to have a say and be a part of the things that are happening in the village so decided to become a member of the parish council in 2017.

Cllr James Cann - moved to Wilberfoss from Acomb with his wife in December 2013. A sports journalist working in Howden, he was busy preparing to welcome his first child in the last months of 2015. The imminent arrival inspired him to get involved with the Parish Council, to whose mission of supporting, sustaining and improving the village's beauty, safety and tranquillity he is fully subscribed

Cllr Norma Randall - Norma is already heavily involved in the community as a member of the Wilberfoss in Bloom, Yorkshire Countrywomen and Wilberfoss Community Centre Management committee.  Norma is looking to give something back to the community that made her feel at home when she moved from the south of England.

Cllr Louise Ward – was brought up in the village for 25 years and returned in May 2015 to the place she calls home.  She works as a student administration manager at the University of York and when she isn’t working, supports numerous events and initiatives in the village.  Louise joined the Council to help continue and support the good work people are already doing thereby ensuring the village is well maintained and is an attractive place in which to live.
